“Every bite? Sinfully delicious. Melt-in-the-mouth and outrageously mouth-watering. Yes, it was loud for a Thursday night but let's be honest, the food was louder (and far more interesting). Add great company and....Adriano Celentano and his glasses certainly added to the evening. Well... guess I just have to come back and endure it all over again, ha, ha ”

“I’ve not been to Panis for ages so was looking forward to this. We were a party of 6 at lunch and despite arriving at opening time when it was deserted it soon filled up. The food was amazing, service attentive and prices reasonable. I had calamari and a chicken and Sicilian sausage with lentil dish. Overall great value for money and look forward to coming back and sampling more of the menu”

“Fregola Pescatora is marvelous. The pasta is Al dente perfectly. The sauce is full of umami. There are many shrimps and scallops. The malloreddus with sausage was lovely too. I don’t usually eat sausage but took the recommendation for a traditional dish to share— I’ll definitely come back for the steak and seabass and the specials if I visit Newcastle again. Surprisingly reasonable price for the wonderful food and portion. Friendly staff.”

“Always bustling every day of the week- this Italian is very popular and for good reason. Service is truly impeccable. Staff are lovely and you really feel like you’re being taken care of, gives the place an almost luxury feel. The food is AMAZING. So authentic and very reasonably priced as well. Honestly cannot fault this restaurant can’t wait until I dine here again”
